Social consciousness expressed in the novels of Shashi Prabha Shastri

शशि प्रभा शास्त्री के उपन्यासों में अभिव्यक्त सामाजिक चेतना

Abstract

Among Hindi writers, the name of Shashi Prabha Shastri is like the radiant sun, who brought changes in the whole society with the sound of his writing. In writing different from men, he exposed his specialties, eccentricities, challenges, struggles and experiences and imaginations. In his novels, the filthiness prevailing in life, human ugliness, frustration of middle-class life and present anger-disappointment in the domestic life of husband and wife, opposition-resistance, love-hatred, attachment-separation and the natural pace of life have also been mentioned. Shashi Prabha Shastri has highlighted political, social, economic, religious problems prominently in his literature.

हिंदी साहित्यकारों में शशि प्रभा शास्त्री का नाम दैदीप्यमान सूर्य की तरह है जिन्होंने अपनी लेखनी की की आवाज से सम्पूर्ण समाज में परिवर्तन की हिलोरे ला दी।  इन्होंने पुरूषों से भिन्न लेखन में अपनी विशिष्टताओं, विलक्षणताओं, चुनौतियों, संघर्षों व अनुभवों व कल्पनाओं को लेकर पर्दापण किया। इन्होंने अपने उपन्यासों में जीवन में व्याप्त मलिनता, मानवीय कुरूपता, मध्यमवर्गीय जीवन की कुण्ठा तथा पति-पत्नी के गार्हस्थिक जीवन में वर्तमान राग-विराग, विरोध-अवरोध, प्रेम-विद्वेष, लगाव-अलगाव एवं जीवन की स्वाभाविक गति को भी अंकित किया है। शशि प्रभा शास्त्री ने अपने साहित्य में राजनीति, सामाजिक, आर्थिक, धार्मिक समस्याओं को प्रमुख रूप से उजागर किया है।
