Abstract

The tradition of Jugalbandi has been going on in Khayal for years, where two skilled musicians perform together. Here music is shared rather than competitive. In Khayal singing, artists decorate their singing with various difficult rhymes and various types of aalaap, taunts and embellishments.

ख्याल में जुगलबंदी की परम्परा वर्षो से चली आ रही है, जहाँ दो कुशल संगीतकार एक साथ प्रस्तुती देते हैं। यहां संगीत प्रतिस्पद्र्धात्मक होने के बजाय साझा होता है। ख्याल गायन में कलाकार विभिन्न कठिन लयकारियों व विभिन्न प्रकार के आलाप, तानों, अलंकरणों से अपनी गायकी को सजाते है।
