Abstract

If democracy is alive in a huge country like India, then political parties have a huge contribution behind it. Due to the multi-party system in Indian politics, the citizens here get ample opportunities to participate in power. This makes the democratic problems get solved better and easily. If this were not the case, divisive forces would dominate in a country like India, which would increase the possibility of India being disintegrated. If we look at the level of ideology also, we find that people of many ideologies live in India. The role of political parties is important in their complete adjustment. Regional or national parties incorporate the different ideologies of different people in their ideology. Therefore, it is very important to have political parties to reduce the ideological differences in Indian politics. India is a federal state, the role of political parties is important in keeping its federal form intact.

Abstract in Hindi Language: भारत जैसे विशाल देश में यदि लोकतंत्र जीवित है तो उसके पीछे राजनीतिक दलों का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। भारतीय राजनीति में बहुदलीय व्यवस्था के कारण ही यहां के नागरिकों को सत्ता में भागीदारी के पर्याप्त अवसर मिलते है। इससे लोकतांत्रिक समस्याओं का समाधान बेहतर तथा आसानी से हो जाता है। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता भारत जैसे देश में विखंडनकारी शक्तियां हावी हो जाती जिससे भारत के टुकड़े-टुकड़े होने की संभावना बढ़ जाती। विचारधारा के स्तर पर भी देखें तो हम पाते हैं कि भारत में अनेक विचारधाराओं के लोग निवास करते हैं। जिनके पूर्ण समायोजन में राजनीतिक दलों की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण होती है। अलग-अलग लोगों की अलगदृअलग विचारधाराओं को क्षेत्रीय या राष्टीय दल अपनी विचारधारा में समाहित कर लेते है। इसलिए भारतीय राजनीति में वैचारिक विभिन्न्ता को कम करने के राजनीतिक दलों का होना अतिआवश्यक है। भारत एक संघीय राज्य है जिसके संघीय स्वरूप यथावत रखने में राजनीतिक दलों की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है।
