21st Century Skills: Fostering Critical Thinking among Middle Stage Students through Innovative Methods

The research was conducted to study the effect of teaching learning strategies based on innovative teaching-learning methods on critical thinking skills among middle aged students. The research establishes that the innovative teaching methods based on project-based learning, problem solving method, group discussions, inquiry-based learning, use of real-life scenarios, Socratic Method, etc. significantly enhanced critical thinking skills among the middle stage students especially their skills to analyse, evaluate and create that would help students to face real life situations.
