Abstract

India is a country largely composed of villages. Rural transformation is generally conceptualized in terms of modernization, rural development, changes in the economic structure, and the migration of population from agriculture to non-agricultural sectors of the economy. Various theoretical approaches have been applied to understand the process of rural transformation. Karl Marx also described the nature of rural society in India. Along with the industrial sector, the manufacturing sector is playing an important role in nation-building and contributing significantly to the development of the country. In Gujarat, the manufacturing industry represents a major sector of the economy and serves as an important source of employment for millions of people.

Abstract in Hindi Language: भारत गाँवों से बना देश है। ग्रामीण परिवर्तन को आम तौर पर आधुनिकीकरण, ग्रामीण विकास, आर्थिक संरचना में परिवर्तन और अर्थव्यवस्था के कृषि से गैर-कृषि क्षेत्रों में जनसंख्या के प्रवास के रूप में अवधारणाबद्ध किया गया है। ग्रामीण परिवर्तन के अध्ययन के लिए विभिन्न सैद्धांतिक दृष्टिकोण लागू किए गए हैं। कार्ल मार्क्स ने भारत में ग्रामीण समाज की प्रकृति का भी वर्णन किया है। देश के विकास में औद्योगिक क्षेत्र के साथ-साथ निर्माण क्षेत्र भी कदम से कदम मिलाकर राष्ट्र निर्माण में अहम भूमिका निभा रहा है। गुजरात में निर्माण उद्योग एक बड़ा क्षेत्र है और लाखों लोगों के लिए रोजगार का स्रोत है।
