Abstract

In this study, the influence of socio-demographic factors on the level of work satisfaction experienced by educators is investigated. A total of 100 workers from ten different private and government schools in the Dakshin Dinajpur region of West Bengal were sampled for the collection of data. The selection of respondents was accomplished through the use of stratified random sampling, and a structured questionnaire was utilized. Within SPSS, correlation and regression methods were utilized in order to conduct the analysis of the data. The outcomes of the correlation study indicate that there is a substantial positive association between the socio-demographic factors and the level of work satisfaction the individual experiences. According to the findings of the regression analysis, the five components that were incorporated into the model are responsible for 57.3 percent of the amount of variance in work satisfaction. In addition, the data demonstrate that the characteristics have a substantial and beneficial influence on the level of work satisfaction experienced by school instructors.
